Insurance and Payment Questions

Yes, I am in network with almost all commercial Highmark, Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, Anthem, and UPMC commercial plans. Please call the member services number on your insurance card to verify coverage and to ask more specific questions. You may also want to read my response to the question, “What happens if I have questions about my insurance plan?” This question is located below this response.
If you have Aetna Out-Of-Network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I do not submit any out-of-network paperwork to insurance companies. Please call the member services number on your insurance card to verify your out-of-network coverage. You may also want to read my response to the question, “What happens if I have questions about my insurance plan?” This question is located below this response.
Unfortunately, I am unable to accept Cigna, United Healthcare, Tricare, CCBHO, Medicaid, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage plans.

Contact your insurance company at the member services number on your card. You may want to ask them to explain these aspects of your coverage.
Do I have coverage for outpatient mental health benefits (CPT codes 90791 and 90837)?
Is Rebecca Taylor and/or Taylor Psychological Services in network for my specific insurance plan?
Do I have a copay or co-insurance amount due for each session? If yes, what is that amount? If my experience, it is extremely rare for someone to have both a copay and a co-insurance.
Do I have a deductible to pay before my insurance covers my costs? If so, what is the amount?
Does my specific plan cover both virtual and in-person therapy sessions?
Is there a difference in my copay/co-insurance between an in-person and virtual therapy session?
Is there a limit to my number of sessions?
Please ask and clarify any other concerns or questions.

Yes, my self-pay rate is $180/session and is due at the time of your appointment.

You as the client are responsible for paying the cost of your sessions, including all costs that insurance refuses to cover for any reason. Be sure to ask your insurance company any questions you may have before starting therapy with me so that you understand your financial obligations and do not encounter any unwanted surprises.
